What Sets Rapha Apart

Kia ora, I’m Christian, a Registered Nurse and the founder of Rapha Healthcare.

I created Rapha because I’ve seen the gaps.

Families confused.
Clients feeling unheard.
Care that feels rushed instead of personal.

Care should feel safe.
It should feel intentional.
It should feel like someone genuinely sees you.

“Rapha” means healing, and that meaning sits at the centre of everything we do.

Even in our logo, the “R” carries symbolism. In healthcare, “Rx” represents receiving - to receive care, to receive support, to receive healing. That is the heart behind Rapha Healthcare.

Through my experience in community nursing, I saw how powerful the right support can be in helping someone rebuild their life after injury. Recovery is not only physical. It affects confidence, routine, independence, and family dynamics.

Rapha was created to provide structured, nurse led care that supports people to regain independence safely and with dignity. Care that is restorative. Care that is coordinated. Care that feels human.

My vision is to build a provider that families trust and staff are proud to represent, a service grounded in professional excellence, compassion, integrity, and purpose.

We are here to support you and your whānau with care that is thoughtful, respectful, and delivered with heart.
